March Snow

Three days ago, we battened down for severe storms, which resulted in tornados that devastated some areas of southern Indiana and eastern Kentucky.  Here in the Bluegrass, we were spared the worst of it, for which we are grateful.  We had some brief, fierce squalls, including a hailstorm that dropped the largest hailstones I’ve ever seen.  I couldn’t resist asking,

Possum Disease in Horses

If you live in the United States east of the Rockies, and  your horse show signs of dizziness, ataxia, or confusion, you should alert your veterinarian to the possibility of EPM:  Equine Protozoal Myeloencephalitis.
