At Bledington

From Lacock, we drove through the Cotswolds to Bledington.  We stayed at The King’s Head, a 15th-century cider house now operating as an inn and restaurant.  We were delighted with it.  Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the restaurant served excellent meals.  We had a lovely walk along the public footpath around the village.  I could happily have spent a week there, enjoying the inn’s gardens and other delights, and taking long walks in the countryside.
